    He's talking about Discovery--the adventurous NASA program that gave us the first rover on another planet (Mars Pathfinder), the first landing on an asteroid (NEAR's touchdown on 433 Eros), the first sample return from a comet (Stardust), the first sample return from the Sun (Genesis) and the possible discovery of water at the Moon's poles (Lunar Prospector).

    The Huntsville Times - Huntsville-based Expression Genetics announced the completion of a phase I clinical study for a possible drug to treat ovarian cancer. The study on the EGEN-001 drug candidate was conducted at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Baylor College of Medicine, according to a company news release.

Helen Greiner, iRobot Corp. chairman, will speak during one of five sessions in the fourth annual Southeastern Software Engineering Conference that's held during Technology Exposition for Advancing multi-Market Solutions, or TEAMS, Week. The event runs March 28 through April 1 at the Von Braun Center and is designed to build relationships among the business community, government and academia. TEAMS also aims to promote the Huntsville community nationally as a technology center.
