Dynetics receives $51.9 million Army contract

Huntsville-based Dynetics has been awarded a $51.9 million contract to support the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center, and System Simulation and Development Directorate.

In a news release, Dynetics said it will continue its 16-year history supporting SS&DD in its aerodynamic design, test and analysis activities under the five-year indefinite quantity, task order contract.

Team members on the contract include Torch Technologies, Huntsville; Combustion Research & Flow Technologies; Dublin, Pa.; and Triumph Aerospace Systems (formerly Allied Aerospace Inc.), Newport News, Va.

Dynetics provides engineering, research and development products and services to government and private-sector customers. Dynetics has more than 900 employees in offices nationwide, including two locations in Cummings Research Park.
