Jones Drive and Four Mile Post Road in south Huntsville. Rue 21 clothing store will open Thursday, Nov. 16, according to a company spokeswoman. The chain has 279 stores in 46 states. Also, Fleet Feet Sports, now located in the shopping center's first phase, plans to relocate to a larger space of more than 4,000 square feet in the second phase, said Valley Bend developer Raymond Jones Jr. Sally Beauty Supply and a hair and nail salon will also move into the second phase, Jones said. "We're within days of delivering those spaces" to the three tenants, he said. "I'm negotiating with a restaurant for the largest of the three remaining spaces in the second phase." Hobby Lobby, the anchor tenant for Valley Bend's second phase, opened in late May, moving from a South Memorial Parkway location. Jones said that Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, a casual dining restaurant, will be built on an outparcel along Carl T. Jones Drive. There are more than 330 Red Robin restaurants in the United States and Canada. "This is the first one in the state of Alabama," said Jones. The first phase of Valley Bend has more than 392,000 square feet; its anchor store is SuperTarget, which opened in fall 2001. | |
