Business moves to 3 floors at Big Spring Summit building

First American Bank will close its offices at 401 Meridian St. at 2 p.m. Friday, and the bank will re-open Monday in new offices on the second, third and fourth floors at the eight-story Big Spring Summit in downtown Huntsville.

The bank will occupy 33,000 square feet of space at the new Summit building, said Evans Quinlivan, chief executive officer-Madison County of First American Bank.

"We feel fortunate to do business in such a vibrant community" and are pleased to be part of the revitalization of downtown Huntsville, Quinlivan said. The new space at 100 Church St. will allow the bank to consolidate its main office functions at one location, he said. The bank offices will offer traditional bank services as well as mortgage, insurance and securities services.

The bank had also leased office space at Regency Center.

BlueCreek Investment Partners has already moved into its new fifth-floor suite in the Summit building. And Bruegger's bakery-cafe marked the opening of its restaurant in the Big Spring Summit last week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
