Friday, June 16, 2006
From staff reports Huntsville Times Huntsville-based Digital Fusion Inc. has moved into its new 25,000-square-foot corporate headquarters, which provides room to bring together Huntsville employees who were scattered among three locations. The building, at 5030 Bradford Drive in Colonial Center, also gives the company space to expand. The company held a grand opening celebration on Thursday. "Our effort was to bring everyone together under one roof, including lab activities," said Frank Libutti, Digital Fusion chairman and CEO. The facility will "provide employees a better place to work and gives us the opportunity to serve our customers better." The publicly traded company specializes in information technology, research and development and acquisition and business support services, and has commercial and government customers. "We're excited about the new facility and the growth of the company," Libutti said. "We continue to grow as we compete for different contracts in the Huntsville area." The company announced that revenue for the first quarter of 2006 was $7.1 million, an increase of $2.7 million compared with the same period last year. Digital Fusion, which employs 241, has an office outside Fort Bliss in Texas and opened an office in Washington, D.C., in May. | |
