UAH's business school has been ranked among the top undergraduate business programs in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2006 Best Colleges Guide. This is the third time UAH's College of Administrative Science has received this honor. The UAH business school is the youngest business school in Alabama to earn a U.S. News national ranking this year. "This is especially gratifying because the evaluation is done by deans and senior faculty at other AACSB-accredited schools," said Dr. David Billings, dean of the college. "There are about 1,500 undergraduate business schools in the U.S., so being included in a national ranking of the top 166 business schools is certainly noteworthy." Other business schools the deans rated as "on par" with UAH included those at Mississippi State University, the University of South Florida, St. Joseph's University, Xavier University of Ohio, Gonzaga University, Loyola College of Maryland, Loyola University of New Orleans, The University of Nevada at Los Vegas, the University of Colorado at Denver, California Polytechnic at San Luis Obispo, the University of Idaho and the University of Tulsa. Billings noted that the UAH business school is celebrating its 25th anniversary this fall. "This is a nice birthday present for the college," he said. For more information:
