New Century Technology High School
New Century Technology High School opened in 1996, and is located on the campus of Calhoun Community College in Cummings Research Park. New Century is the result of a partnership between the Huntsville City Schools, Calhoun Community College, the Huntsville business community, and government organizations including NASA.
The mission of the New Century Technology High School is to connect academic pursuits with business goals. The school provides opportunities for students to work directly with industry to develop critical technology skills. This partnership is preparing students to become skilled workers for the high-tech workplace of today and tomorrow.
Catholic High School
The Catholic High School opened in 1996, and is a private, Catholic high school located in Cummings Research Park and operating within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Birmingham. The school offers required and advanced courses in a variety of subject areas. The school also offers students a rich selection of extracurricular activities, including academic, art and language clubs, a music department, and a full year-round sports program.
