New Century Technology High School
The mission of NCTHS is to connect academic pursuits with business goals. The school provides opportunities for students to work with businesses on currently needed projects. These opportunities focus on building team work and communication skills while students develop and use the skills of the high technology workplace. This partnership between business and education will provide skilled workers for the high- tech workplace of today and tomorrow.
New Century offers all the core curriculum that the other Huntsville high schools offer including advanced classes and advanced placement classes for seniors. In addition, students attending NCTHS take at least two technology electives per year. These classes provide students with knowledge and hands-on experience in their chosen technological career field.

Pope John Paul II Catholic High School
Pope John Paul II Catholic High School opened in 1996, and is a private, Catholic high school located in Cummings Research Park and operating within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Birmingham. The school offers required and advanced courses in a variety of subject areas. The school also offers students a rich selection of extracurricular activities, including academic, art and language clubs, a music department, and a full year-round sports program.
