Calhoun Community
College
The John C. Calhoun Community College is the largest two-year institution
in Alabama. The campus in Cummings Research Park is a branch of the main
campus in nearby Decatur, Alabama. The College offers 42 associate degree
programs and 49 certificate programs, including numerous math, science,
and computer related courses. The College has a total enrollment of approximately
8,200 students attending four campuses.

New Horizons Computer Learning Center
The New Horizons Computer Learning Center provides independent computer training courses through a worldwide network of over 1,200 classrooms and 1,400 instructors. Classrooms in Cummings Research Park provide approximately 16,000 student days of instruction each year.
