Evening of Valentines Delight Feb 6th

The City of Huntsville Recreation Services is partnering will eleven Kiwanis and Optimist Clubs in the Huntsville area to build a Special Needs Playground in Brahan Spring Park. This playground is called Everybody Can Play (see our website at www.everybodycanplay.org. It will be designed for youth and adults. People with special needs can play as well as those who do not have special needs.

We are partnering with the Huntsville Stars for a special event on Saturday, February 6th at the Jaycee Building in John Hunt Park. This “Evening of Valentines Delights” will include several restaurants and catering groups that will have booths and they will offer samples of some of their favorite dishes. Also included will be both live and silent auctions of various items that includes sports memorabilia and other things. Several local celebrities will also participate in a cookie decorating competition that includes both Mayors Tommy Battle and Paul Finley as well as others.

Admission for the evening is $25.00 per person or 2 for $40.00. All proceeds will go to support the playground. Our goal for the evening is $10,000.00.
