I Am A Current Resident
The growth of Huntsville and Madison County began in the 1950’s as Dr. Wernher von Braun and his team of rocket scientists raced to be the first nation in space. This inspired technological innovation in the Rocket City that still exists today. As businesses have grown, our community has grown, propelling Huntsville to be Alabama’s second largest metropolitan area according to the U.S. Census of 2010.
This growth that was originally fueled by the aerospace industry but has grown to a diverse economy to include defense, computer science, advanced manufacturing and biotechnology making Huntsville/Madison County a Smart place to live, work and play.
Our goal as a Chamber is to secure sustainable economic growth for the future for our community. Therefore, we have partnered with The Community Foundation, The Schools Foundation and the Women’s Business Center of North Alabama. These non-profit organizations now reside in the Chamber of Commerce building in downtown Huntsville.

Chamber’s annual community guide and quick reference resource publication. Both Chamber members and non - members can receive their first copy for free.

Membership Directory 2012 - 2013
The directory contains updated and verified information on over 2,100 Chamber member businesses. The directory not only lists the businesses by category but also they are listed alphabetically for quick reference. The cost of the directory is $20 for Chamber MEMBERS and $70 for NON-MEMBERS. Updated inserts may be purchased for $15 until November 1, 2013. Directories may be picked up at the front desk of the Chamber or mailed for $4 per directory. If you choose to have your directory mailed, please allow 8-10 business days.
