“Member’s Only” online portal

Chamber members received an email this week with login information to access the "Members Only" section of our website. Any member who did not receive this information should contact Donna McCrary dmccrary@hsvchamber.org to update the email address listed in their profile.

The “Member’s Only” portal home page has some important links that members need to know about:

In the middle of the portal home page is the Calendar of Events which will contain information about Chamber events and links to sign up for those events.

To the left of the Calendar of Events is the “Update Your Contact Information” link. This link allows members to update demographic information as well as listing descriptions. This link also allows employee contacts to be added under the main company profile. Keep in mind that to protect the security of this information all profile change requests must be approved by Chamber staff before they are applied. This will cause a short delay before the changes will be visible on the website.

The “Update Your Username/Password” link is next on the menu. We recommend that every member use this link to change their username to something that they will easily remember and change their password to a secure password. Passwords are considered “secure” when they have at least 8 characters having a mixture of upper and lowercase letters along with numbers.

The “Stay Informed” link will be populated in the future with important Chamber announcements. Stay tuned!

The “Pay Your Bills” link lists all outstanding invoices for the member’s profile and allows convenient online payment of those invoices.

The “Take A Survey” link will have surveys that the Chamber will post from time to time. We will use these surveys to improve the job that we do in support of you, our members.

The “Who’s Who” link is the location of the new online directory. This directory allows searches for members by category, keyword, name, city, state or zip code.

The “Coupons” link, while not yet active, will allow members to create coupons on the website. These entries require staff approval just as the profile changes and may take some time to become active.

The “Referral Report” allows a member to see the number of referrals that they receive through

Chamber phone calls, website searches, etc.

Last on the menu are the “Log Out” link (self explanatory), and the “Log In As A Different User” link, which is useful if you need to change from one profile to another. This is useful if you are logged into your personal profile and wish to login to your company profile to pay invoices, etc.
