Local Realtor Receives National Award

Weichert, Realtors-The Executive Group in Huntsville, recently received the 2007 “Pinnacle Award,” the topmost honor given by Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. to an office. Weichert Affiliates President Martin J. Rueter presented the award to the agency’s owners, Jim Crumrine, Brenda Elliott and Jim Layne at an awards ceremony for member offices of the Weichert Southeast Broker Council. Elliott, who is the company’s broker and CEO, was honored a second time onstage at the franchise organization’s national convention, before an audience of fellow franchisees and agents from across the country.

In order to earn the award, the office had to achieve the greatest annual Gross Closed Income among the more than 330 affiliates in 36 states. In fact, the Huntsville location of the three-office WEICHERT, REALTORS-The Executive Group had already held the number 1 spot system-wide every month since January, ending the year with an unbroken record and earning one of only three President’s Cup awards system-wide.

“This was no surprise to any of us,” Rueter said. “This group has been making headlines since joining the Weichert family, and we are extremely proud to have them represent the brand in the Huntsville market.” The agency became a member of the Weichert network in March 2006.
