Join the fun at the Mardi Gras on the Moon concert featuring Michelle Malone hosted by the Junior Achievement of Northern Alabama, Inc. (JANA). The event takes place May 2 at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s new Davidson Center for Space Exploration.
The evening will begin with a New Orleans fare at 6:30 pm followed by the concert at 8 pm. General Admission tickets are $45 (includes 1 drink coupon and general admission seating) and Lagniappe tickets are $150 for 2 people (includes 4 drink coupons, the new Michelle Malone Sugarfoot CD and priority seating). Tickets can be purchased at Townhouse Galleries, The Fret Shop and the JANA office.
Serving more than 11,000 students this school year, JANA secures its funding from special events, corporations, individuals, and grants/foundations. This fundraising event was organized to fund JA programs and the newly established Carmen Gum Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year at least one student will receive a $1,000 scholarship from this fund.
