The Ambassador Program

As an Ambassador you represent and promote the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County during special events, meetings and exclusive member-only functions. Serving as a liaison for the Chamber, you also have the ability to create exposure for your business.

The Ambassador Program helps to personally introduce and expose your company to other Chamber businesses, Chamber staff, dignitaries, and Chamber board members.

The elite Ambassador Council is comprised of a group of specially selected individuals. A high level of prestige and credibility is extended to your business through your involvement in this highly visible and respected group.

Sofia Bledsoe

Bledsoe is employed by Bevilacqua Research Corporation and has been an ambassador for one year. She is very active in welcoming new companies to our community by attending ribbon cuttings and ground breakings. She also participated in the 2007 Total Resource Campaign and as a first year volunteer was one of the star performers.

“Sofia brings a sense of professionalism and dedication to everything she does and she has established an outstanding rapport with other volunteers,” said Dawn Mueller, 2006 Ambassador of the Year and 2007 ambassador council co-chair.

  The Ambassador Program is the glue that holds the Chamber together as far as communicating with its membership.

I think everyone should be involved in the Ambassador Program. It’s a win-win for each of us personally, and for the community as a whole.

Ambassador, 1993 – present

  The Ambassador program is important to the overall Chamber membership. We work on retention and outreach by making phone calls and personal visits to new and existing Chamber members to promote Chamber benefits and opportunities, relay Chamber involvement information, identify concerns, and answer questions.

Ambassadors also serve as hosts and hostesses for Chamber functions like the Annual Membership Luncheon, Small Business Awards dinner, Business After Hours, Breakfast and Business and other Membership events throughout the year. Networking and making personal connections with other business professionals is the largest asset any business owner can have.

Being an Ambassador has been the catalyst for my business success! As my grandfather always says, "If it's a good thing share It!
