| Fall BizTech Lunch Seminars at Noon
Product Launch Planning and Practices - September 16
The best launches unite the product/service, marketing, sales and support together with a clear value proposition to the customers. Match the whole product attributes of your offering to the type of customers who will buy your offering. We will spend an hour (more with follow-up) on avoiding the typical pitfalls (build it and they will come) and maximizing this opportunity for market feedback
Creating your Elevator Pitch - October 14
BizTech is sponsoring an Elevator Pitch contest later in the year. Find out how to do a 10 second, 30 second, and 1 minute pitch. In 1 minute you should be able to clearly state who you are, the market you serve, the problem you solve, why you are different and better, and make a call to action. Practice your pitch to see if it gets the audience to ask for more!
Doing a Fundraising Pitch - November 9
Learn about investors and how to focus on their needs and not just explain what you do. 10 slides, 20 minutes, 30 point type model. Learn to ask questions and qualify investors.
Positioning your company - December 2
Positioning is explaining to stakeholders why you are relevant and important to them. You hear positioning every day and it is the reason why “Snakes on a Plane” was a better title than the original “Tropic Air 121”. Develop a formal positioning statement with the elements of ‘Who’ you are for, ‘Who Need’ stated in customer critical need terms, ‘You Provide’ something that uniquely meets those neees, and ‘As Opposed To’ someone else in the market who doesn’t meet the needs as well as you do.
