Volunteers: Making A
Difference
Maintaining and improving
36 miles of trails on three Land Trust nature preserves is an ongoing
responsibility. From removing fallen trees and branches to
reroutes to address erosion, our dedicated Trail Care Crew volunteers help make the trails safer and more pleasant.
If you enjoy the trails and care about keeping them in the best shape
possible, please join us for one (or all) trail care events. If
you are age 15 and older, helping The Land Trust is a great way to
build community service hours.
We provide tools, water, training, and expert supervision. You can
enjoy a few hours out of doors AND your efforts will help make being on the
trails a better recreational experience.
