Look for Madison County Property Tax Notices this Fall 2009

Madison County Property Owners, a new look is coming for your property tax notice this fall 2009.  Your notice will no longer be a postcard.  The new notice will be enclosed in an envelope with a return envelope included.  It will be an 8 ∏” x 11” notice which is similar to your mortgage statement or credit card bill.

You will detach the bottom portion of the notice and insert with your payment into the enclosed envelope.  If you own multiple parcels and your mailing address is correct on all of your parcels, your notices will mailed in one envelope.

The new notice format will provide more privacy for taxpayers.

Taxes are due October 1, 2009 and become delinquent after December 31, 2009.
