Gallery’s “BIG Works” Show
The Arts
Council, Inc. announces a “Call for Entries” for the next show at its art@TAC Gallery, located in
All submitted art must have
an image size no smaller than 18 x 24 inches, although even larger pieces are
encouraged. The maximum size acceptable is 8 feet tall by 10 feet wide,
with a maximum weight of 100 pounds or less. The children’s component
will be the only exception to the size standards, as framing requirements will
limit the accepted sizes of their pieces. One to two two-dimensional
works may be submitted per applicant.
Works and forms may be
submitted digitally through e-mail (tac@panoply.org)
or by CD; applicants should use the jpg file format. Submission deadline
is Friday, 10 July; consignment forms
can be found at www.artshuntsville.org
or they can be e-mailed. CD’s may be hand-carried or mailed to The Arts Council offices at the VBC,
“BIG Works” will open in August
(reception date to be announced) and will run through the end of November. Your support is encouraged in
helping The Arts Council keep the visual
arts in the public eye, ensuring that visitors view them as a vital component
of our community. For further information on art@TAC
specifically or The Arts Council in
general, visit our website or call (256) 519-2787
