"Taming the Intellectual Property Beast: Views from India and China" Free Seminar Offered

North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA) in partnership with Baker Donelson will host a free seminar on May 16 entitled "Taming the Intellectual Property Beast: Views from India and China."

The event features Bake Donelson attorneys Sandhya Mehta, Susan Fentress and Richard Walker. Ms. Mehta manages a dynamic India practice from the Washington, D.C. office and has recently returned from one of her many client development trips to India. Ms. Fentress, of the Memphis office, and Mr. Walker, a shareholder in Atlanta, are both actively engaged in work with a Chinese focus. Ms. Fentress most recently was part of the Baker Donelson delegation that traveled throughout China presenting the seminar, "Doing Business in the U.S." to over 200 Chinese companies. Mr. Walker has counseled clients in international intellectual property enforcement strategies including China and India, as well as U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) proceedings based on prior litigation experience in ITC and related federal district court proceedings.
